I have set up this blog to document my road to publication. I am fascinated by the Golden Age of crime so I am currently writing my first crime novel set in 1922. I am now on my second draft. So far working full time as a librarian in a public library in the UK it has taken me three years to get to this point.
I thought I would begin by listing and reviewing all the books I have used in research and background. They will not be in order as I have just read a fantastic and thorough non- fiction book by the excellent Martin Edwards – The Golden Age of Murder. This book was so good that having read it on my Kindle I have bought it in Hardback so that I can ( sacre bleu!) annotate it. There is nothing like the actual feel of a book is there?
